Live moves pretty fast

Hello,
It's been a while since my last post. It's already February! Time flies so fast isn't it?
Yup, Life has been moving quickly over the past few weeks. I'm currently just done with my attachment at cytotoxic drugs reconstitution pharmacy. YAHOO! Since I've started my attachment in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, I've barely had time to sit down & take breather. After a long day 8 am to 5 pm at work, I would come home & make some simple dinner, put my feet up to rest a bit & head to bed straight. However as the days go by, after solving many prescriptions, meeting people with different characters & serving patients, I feel that I have made an impact in their lives in terms of health.  With blank of an eyes, six months has passed by and I cannot believe I've been working(practical) for more than a month already.

The attachment are due soon and I will start writing up my reports for my final year research project so that I am ready for my presentation later. Kekeke..On top of that, I will also have to start collect data as I will start my attachment at Therapeutic drug monitoring department soon for 2 weeks only.

By the way, here are some updates on what I've been doing. So far, I have been collecting prescriptions, labelling and dispensing. Other things I've been doing are rearranging stock, swabing the clean room, packing drugs and supplying. I am also learning how to screening the prescription and to be familiar with drug dose and strength calculations. The pharmacy technicians & staffs are also extremely lovely & friendly.

Hello readers! I'm back!!

I guess it is not too late yet to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2015 since it is still the beginning of the year and hopefully this year will be filled with all kinds of opportunities to put to our lives! 

Alright,  before I share with you what will await me in this year, let us recall the sweet memories in 2014. First of all, I am so thankful for all the blessings in 2014 and super grateful for all the amazing opportunities and experiences :

Most of all, 2014 was a year of challenges,  of risks, of fighting for what I believe in, of growing and it was a year in which I learned a lot about myself.  

It's been a remarkable journey and although I'm sad to close this chapter,  I'm really excited to begin a new one! I have been blessed to do what I love and to share it with every single one of you. 

For 2015, I pledge to myself that I will continue to evolve,  be open to new things, to challenge myself, to love everybody in my life unconditionally,  to never regret anything,  to live life to the Max, to stay humble and be kind to everybody and of course to appreciate every single one of you. I wish you all a blessed year full of all the things you have always dreamt of and more!

Why I'm studying about medications

I have my mom who I almost lost to cancer and also My own dad who is now sufferring  from cardiomegaly (an enlargement of heart), which is one of the most deadly disease that kill its victims quickly. Seeing how much pain and trauma they go through daily, I want to be able to help them get well quickly or provide medications which can cure the illness. These entire situations motivated and increased my interest in becoming a good chemist oneday. After I complete my diploma, I was planning to further my degree in pharmaceutical science and chemistry at international medical university. I want to oneday become a life saver, an important member of a health care team, a role model to other people. I also want to be able to show love and care to people who need  it. I believe I can make a difference someday.

I am so thankful for all the blessings of this year and I am looking forward to 2014!
Because it is the beginning of the year, so I want to introduce myself through my biodata below. check it out youuu...:)

It was early morning on may 14 year 1992. First cry of a baby girl was heard in kapit sarawak hospital and this baby girl was me. I was named Lenny anak Nyingat since that day and after baptised at St.Anthony catholic church, I was named Maria magdalen lenny anak nyingat. More than eighteen years later, I found myself studying Pharmacy at Mahsa University. I have four sisters and 2 brothers. During the holidays, I spent my free time sitting at home, surfing internet, watching television, hang out with family,cousins and friends. I'm pure ibanez girl and I'm catholic christian (proud to be it) . I like music so much, any types of music, jazz, Rock, Classic,Hip pop, R&B, and pop yeh yeh! :D yeaahhh...I like to sing,dance and play music instruments like guitar,piano,drum but I don't know how to play..heee..but I prefer to sing and I can make you force myself to shut up. haha. When I'm overjoy, you can even count my teeth..teeheee..but when it comes to disappointment, my eyes get watery and I don't want to talk to anybody. Say"sorry" and I will forgive you..:) I don't revenge, only if I have to..I can be mean hoo. To me, cats and dogs are family too. hehe.

Sports!
I can play badminton, tennis, futsal, Table Tennis,golf, chess and scrabble.

I always cook for myself and for the rest of the family, but for me, the most delicious food is my mother's cooking.
I began my early education at the age of 7 in Sekolah menengah keseng, Tatau Sarawak for 2 years. At that time I lived with my aunty. After 2 years, I moved to Sekolah Kebangsaan Orang kaya and continued my education there until I'm standard 6. At the age of 13, I continued my education to secondary school at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Baru Bintulu Sarawak until I am form 2. The secondary school I was in is not close to my home, so I moved to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Bintulu Sarawak at the age of 15. I choose this school because it was close to my house. It become easier for me to go and come home from school. I attended school there until I was 20 years old which I took my Spm and STPM Level A examination. When I was in form 6 Level A, I met good friends and they now become my best friends. After STPM Level A examination finished, some of my friends had to moved from bintulu. It's become difficult for me to meet with my best friends because of their distance became further. Although we cannot meet as always, we still keep in touch through the internet and via telephone. :)
